2014 Photos
My goal for 2014 is at least one photographically-strong photo each week. I want to push myself and see how much more my eye can improve!
Contest 2012
This year’s themes are:
wabisabi (beauty in the imperfect)
food
quarters (4 pictures)
black and white
Also, this year was very big for me. I won the food theme (coffee cup), the black-and-white theme (baby being kissed by her grandparents), and then the top four photos went head-to-head, and my black-and-white was the winner!!

The second year I was in the year-long photo contest, the themes were:

pattern/texture
Contest 2010
2010 was the first year I was in my friend Heidi’s year-long photo challenge. We had four themes, and 10 months. Once the 10 months were up, we collected our favorites, and through a series of votes, eventually winners were chosen for each category and one grand prize winner. I didn’t place in any theme, but it was an awesome opportunity for growth. My pictures improved immensely over the year!
